We’re working on the third pitch in Pitch Lab when I notice something that almost never happens.
👉 Everyone has the exact same pitch as last week.
No one is scrambling.
No one is guessing.
They remember it.
They’re confident about it.
That’s when you know it’s working.
What changed
We stopped explaining everything.
And focused on one clear phrase –
👉 easy to say
👉 easy to repeat
Why don’t people remember what I do after I tell them?
Because most pitches are too long, too broad, or too abstract.
They’re hard to say.
So they’re impossible to repeat.
Think of it this way:
👉 “I help rabbis stop relying on their teenager for tech support.”
👉 “I help tech executives retire early and buy land.”
You can picture it.
You can remember it.
And more importantly –
👉 you can repeat it.
That’s the real test
Not:
“Does this explain everything I do?”
But:
👉 “Can someone say this to someone else?”
Because that’s how referrals happen.
Your Turn
If someone met you this week…
👉 What will they remember about you?
More importantly – could they repeat it?
If not, that’s fixable.
